The artist walks the thin line of stability.

The stability of video signal going through audio mixer, and stability of war business.

The video is broken and stretched as the artist metaphors the politics and media are in some ways.

The original video was recorded real time (live) back in early 2007, when North Korean Nuclear crisis was at their peak.

The original footage of the piece are from a documentaries about North Korean regime which was produced by western media 'Noord-Korea Een dag uit het leven' and 'Mass Game', 'Maeng Soo Dul Eh Ssa Um(Battle of the beasts)' a North Korean TV program and south Korean news clips of politicians applauses as president of United States of America states 'either you are with us, or you are terrorist'.

The video has been re-ran through broken DVD player, adding broken audio and layers of vivid glitch-like quality pixels. The broken DVD player represents for broken ethics and lack of morality of the business carried by the broken system of politics and media.

The artist's philosophy on glitch are they represent wrongs as they are errors, and a wake up call as when a person is experiencing media and glitch happens, it pulls the audience out of the context.

The artist's choice of re-processing and stretch/distressing the video as flowing video signals through audio mixer is metaphor for his statement, objection and sustain to the war business which are should not be happening but still happening. The video 'repeats' and 'loops' as it gets processed as the history of war business does in loop of corruption.

The artist states that recording through audio mixer is all bout walking on the edge because if the signal is too low or high, the DV tape recorder won't be able to recognize the visuals.

the process has been recorded in real time as well and unedited as the grey cover the screen as the signals are very hard to keep within the range.

The actual piece looks very broken and pushes the audience to be very patient to keep experiencing it.

It is almost 'unbearable' to keep staring as the audiovisual is broken, blurry or unstable as the artist expresses his confusion about the clarity and credibility of the media who blindly leads the public perceptions into the atmosphere of fear. Such dramatic comments and sceneries act as if it is peer pressure to the public perception against non-first world countries who oppose the agendas of politicians and government who profits from constant war.

Emotions of broken and frustration is how the artist feels about the 'business' and that is how audience should feel if they are not 'aware' or 'interested' about the installation or simply there is something is wrong or broken with the video(politics/media.)

The artist desires the video to be projected in an empty container/shop space in a shopping mall where other types of 'business' are going on.

Speakers and projector will be placed in the dark empty space projecting the video to the show windows and the video will be in repeat with no break.
